Mangosteen peel (mesocarp) for viral infections on young children

My daughter started to get some warts on one of her fingers. Applied crushed mangosteen peel without pericarp (removed hard outer layer). Within 1 day she was healed. She said there was a tingling which is a good indicator that the mangosteen (and whatever active ingredients) is getting under the skin.

I have noticed that this treatment is not as effective (but still effective) for adults and think it is due to our thicker skin.

Children appear to be healed.

No new infections

Updating on my research. The children have had no new infections. I managed to get a small infection on my little finger which was quickly resolved with crushed mangosteen pericarp. All good and prayers answered.

Effect of inconsistent beach trips and being lucky for having a swimming pool

The beach treatment is very effective but it needs to be done consistently (whenever there is signs of an infection). The level of infection decreases exponentially with each successive visit.

Unfortunately we were not able to revisit the beach but were fortunate that our swimming pool is quite acidic. There was a new outbreak but was a lot less contagious. In fact, the outbreak seemed so weak that it was not able, or very slowly able to increase. My daughter after swimming in our very acidic swimming pool cured herself of this infection and there has been non after that. However she has gone swimming more than once since that time. No new outbreaks and everything seems to be good.

Update on Eczema treatment

Xia showed signs of getting itchy but this turned out to be very temporary and seemed to have healed completely. The kids probably need to go to the beach again.

Symtoms have stopped, still observing....

It seems that Mangosteen is a temporary curative while the beach is the cure. All symptoms seem to have stopped for the moment. Its been a few months. I am still observing but see nothing. Will continue to observe for the next few years. Very small bumps on daughter stomach seem to be peeling off with the natural attrition that skin experiences. All is good....

State of eczema on children

Children have shown minor signs of eczema. Youngest around her fingers. Mangosteen cleared it up.
